Synopsis is our client’s self-built calorie tracker web app that makes nutrition tracking social and effortless. It logs meals with AI from a photo or short description, calculates personalized TDEE/BMR, and keeps users on track with insights and friend features.

The challenge
Tom had a calorie-tracking web app that proved the idea worked. But being desktop-only, it capped engagement and couldn’t fully fit into users’ daily lives — growth was stalling.

We carried out a usability and market audit, comparing competitors’ features and positioning. Through user survey and research-based user flows, we identified pain points, validated opportunities, and uncovered areas for improvement that would create more value for end users.
