InMyCorner is a powerful platform designed to bridge the gap between fitness trainers and their clients for a truly connected and accountable experience. We partnered with founder Ben Howard to bring his vision to life: a seamless ecosystem where trainers can build personalized plans and monitor progress, while clients stay motivated through an intuitive mobile app. This dedicated platform replaces scattered spreadsheets and messaging apps, putting everything needed for fitness success in one place.

The challenge

Fitness trainers like Ben were struggling to manage their clients effectively using a messy combination of tools, leading to wasted time and a disconnected client experience. They lacked a centralized system to assign daily goals, track real-time progress, and make timely adjustments to their clients' plans. This inefficiency created a barrier to scaling their business and delivering the high-touch service their clients deserved.

Work process

Discovery & Research

We began by interviewing personal trainers and their clients to understand the precise frustrations and needs of both sides. This foundational research confirmed the need for a unified platform with seamless data synchronization.

We specialize in digital solutions including website development, web applications, e-commerce platforms, and enterprise software integrations. Our expertise spans diverse industries, delivering strategic technological solutions tailored to unique business challanges.

Wireframing and UX

Our team mapped out the distinct user journeys for the trainer dashboard and the client mobile app, focusing on simplicity and efficiency. The goal was to make daily tracking feel effortless for clients and managing multiple plans incredibly simple for trainers.

UI Design

We created a clean, energetic, and motivating visual design for the mobile app to encourage daily user engagement. The trainer's web dashboard was designed to be data-rich yet easy to navigate, allowing for quick insights and plan adjustments.

Development

Our engineers developed the robust back-end, the web-based trainer dashboard, and the native mobile apps for iOS and Android. A key part of this phase was building the deep, reliable integration with Apple Health and Google Fit to automate data tracking.

Launch & Ongoing Support

We managed the full launch of the platform, onboarding Ben's initial group of trainers and clients to ensure a flawless start. Our ongoing partnership includes continuous maintenance, user support, and the strategic development of new features.
